A Guide to Well-Care Visits and Scheduling

Did you know regular well-child visits are essential for keeping your child healthy and happy?

As your trusted partner in your child’s health, Well-care visits enable us to monitor their growth, development, and any potential concerns before they become bigger problems. No parent wants surprises when it comes to their child’s health, and that’s why we’re here – to help you avoid stress and confusion with regular checkups.

What We Monitor During Well-Care Visits:

Our well-care visits allow us to monitor various aspects, preventing the need for more doctor visits in the future. These aspects include:

  • Growth and Development

  • Immunizations

  • Dental Heath

  • General Well-being

  • Child’s mental health

  • Diet and Nutrition

  • Physical activities, screen time, and other parental concerns.

WHO Recommended Well-Care Schedule

According to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) publication, “Improving the health and wellbeing of children and adolescents, 2024,” they recommend a minimum of 17 scheduled well-care visits between birth and adolescence (in addition to pre-conception and antenatal contacts).
